Santa Susanna hosts a historic event: the World Congress of Sports Journalism of the International Sports Press Association (AIPS).
To mark the centenary of the International Sports Press Association (AIPS), considered the world’s leading sports journalism organization with more than 11,000 associated journalists, the World Sports Journalism Congress was held in Santa Susanna. This unprecedented event brought together more than 300 industry professionals from all over the world.
This prestigious event, co-organized by the Santa Susanna, IFBB and AIPS, was attended by international sports celebrities and will serve as a framework to recognize excellence in sports journalism through the AIPS Media Awards Ceremony, the most important awards worldwide in the sports media industry.
For five days, from April 27 to May 1, 2024, Santa Susanna became the global epicenter of sports journalism, combining high-level debates, tributes to prominent figures and recognition of the best journalistic work of the year.
