SELECTED VENUE FOR THE WOMEN’S IFBB WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
During the World Congress in Moscow in October of 2004, Santa Susanna was officially presented to all of the national delegations present at IFBB.
The presentation of the tourist model of Santa Susanna was a success and, in the voting, it surpassed other candidate venues.
Since 2003, Santa Susanna enjoys the trust of the IFBB, of its athletes and fans to be able to host world and European championships successfully.

In September of 2003, the first IFBB championship was held in Santa Susanna, and later the main supporters of the Santa Susanna World Fitness Capital project, IFBB President Dr. Rafael Santonja and Mayor Il.Joan Campolier, convened the 2004 IFBB World Congress in Moscow to present Santa Susanna as the chosen venue.
In this framework, Santa Susanna is growing in hotel spaces that thanks to events like those organized by the IFBB, give meaning and value.
